Siamo in diretto contatto con la famiglia e la seguiremo passo passo in collaborazione con la Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network il cui presidente Bobby Schindler si recherà sul posto oggi.
Abbiamo ricevuto le immagini della situazione attuale di David e abbiamo preferito non mostrarle ma vi garantiamo che sono impressionanti e va trovata una soluzione con urgenza.

???????? “Il 31 dicembre. 2018, mio fratello David Ruiz II, ha avuto un ictus da anossia. È stato trasportato al pronto soccorso più vicino e poi trasferito in terapia intensiva. È entrato in coma con una grave compromissione neurologica con edema e crisi epilettiche. Il 13 gennaio 2019, è stato dichiarato cerebralmente morto, nonostante la sua reattività verso le voci di mia madre e di altre persone care con spasmi, sollevamento delle dita dei piedi, dei piedi e contrazioni della mano sinistra e delle dita. Più tardi abbiamo saputo che i medici hanno smesso di curarlo, nutrirlo, idratarlo e somministrargli farmaci e siamo stati informati che non se ne sarebbero più occupati. Gli assistenti sociali, il comitato etico, i sacerdoti e i medici palliativisti hanno informato mia madre che aveva tre opzioni, che includevano tutte la rimozione del ventilatore per far morire mio fratello. Hanno martellato mia madre con quanto orribile sarebbe diventato un bell’uomo come David e insistendo per lasciarlo morire. Avevano già programmato di rimuovere il ventilatore il 17 gennaio all’Hospice. Mia madre ha rifiutato l’offerta di trasportare mio fratello con il ventilatore all’hospice in una bella stanza che dava su un giardino con ampie vetrate, dove la famiglia lo avrebbe circondato dopo averlo messo “tranquillo” con due pillole di narcotico. Mia madre ha detto “No, questo è ammazzare mio figlio” e “Non collaborerò ad un omicidio nell’hospice”. A questo punto mio fratello rimane in terapia intensiva, senza alimentazione perché né l’ospedale, né i medici vogliono continuare le cure. Il 22 gennaio 2019, l’amministratore dell’ospedale e vari altri membri del personale sono entrati nella stanza di terapia intensiva di mio fratello e le hanno detto che avrebbero rimosso il ventilatore, dopo averlo spostato in un’ala vuota dell’ICU (Terapia Intensiva) dell’ospedale. Grazie a Dio e con l’aiuto di Bobby Schindler, della rete della Fondazione “Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network”, della Legal Defense for Life e di Angela Clemente & Assoc, abbiamo ottenuto una diffida alla sospensione che impedisce all’ospedale di togliere il supporto vitale. Oggi, David sta morendo di fame in ospedale e continuerà a morire di fame e disidratazione, fino a quando non lo porteremo nel New Jersey per continuare il trattamento. Aiutateci a portarlo lì.”

???????????????? “On December 31st. 2018, my brother David Ruiz II, suffered a stroke from anoxia. He was transported to the nearest emergency department and placed in ICU. He became comatose and began neurogenic storming with swelling. On the 13th of January 2019, he was declared brain dead, in spite of his responsiveness to my mom’s and other loved ones voices by twitching, raising his toes, feet and twitching his left hand/fingers. We later learned that the doctors stopped treating, feeding, hydrating and medicating my brother, and were informed that they would never provide for him again. Social workers, ethics committees, clergy, and comfort care doctors informed my mother that she had three options, all of which included removing the ventilator to let my brother die. They drilled my precious mother with how horrific a beautiful man like David would become and to let him die. Hospice was scheduled to remove the ventilator on the 17th of January. My mother revoked the hospice offer to transport my brother with ventilator to a beautiful room that overlooked a garden from wide open French doors, where family would surround him after he was made comfortable with two narcotic pills. My mother explained “No, that is killing my son,” and “I will not assist in a hospice homocide.” So, my brother remains in ICU, starving because the hospital, nor doctors will continue treatment. On the 22nd of January 2019, the hospital administrator and various other staff members entered my brother’s ICU room and told her they were removing their ventilator, after moving him to an empty ICU wing in the hospital. By the grace of God and the help of the Bobby Schindler, the Terri Shaivo Foundation Network, Legal Defense for Life and Angela Clemente & Assoc, we were provided a cease to desist, which prevents hospital from removing life support. Today, David is starving in hospital and will continue to starve/dehydrate, until we get him to New Jersey to continue treatment. Help us get him there.”
